Update

As usual, I’ve been a little too busy to have time to update the blog.
Here is a quick update:
- Papa’ was again fantastic, he trained only three times but was still able to improve last year time of the Zevenheuvelenloop, he finished in 1.08.30. Not bad!
- We had a few centimetres of snow here, it was so nice that we went to the woods to make a nice walk. It was wonderful!
- I’m an adult now. I don’t use my ciuccio anymore and diapers belong to the past.
- Bolda is trying to catch up, she can take some steps without help, just a few days and she will run after me...

Friday was my mum's birthday, we had a wonderful time, Papa' came home at noon, we ate all together and had a nice afternoon.
We celebrated on Saturday morning, The Bonazzis joined us for a wonderful brunch, there was really a lot to eat!!!
In the evening we had a dinner with Anne-Marie and her family we had carne alla pizzaiola, very tasty.

Buon compleanno mamma!!!!!!!!!

Finally

It took a while but finally Bolda said her first word: MAMMA!
Papa' was of course not very happy so I told him: PAPA'!!
We are even now.
Bolda was very active, she also waved back when Papa' left.
She is really growing up!!!

Translation

Mum did not know how an "handwerker" is called in Italian.
I decided to help and translated it for her: "Aggiustamano".

Bolda

Little Bolda seems to be a quick learner, she is already crawling around and standing up as soon as she finds something to hold on to.

New site layout!

I finally managed to find some time to update the blog layout; I still have to work on some minor details but the general structure is ready.
As you can see, I added a third column on the left side were I moved the birthdays counters and added two new entries:
  • a countdown that shows the time left to the Zevenheuvelenloop
  • a picture showing Papa's training sessions details, the times are automatically uploaded once a day
... now you can keep track of papa's training progress: click on the picture to see more details!

Sea...

The weekend at Bakkum was fantastic, at the sea edge there was a huge sandbox that my parents kept calling beach.
We had a lot of fun, the Bonazzis and Romeyn were there as well, we had a wonderful BBQ on Saturday and ate croissants for breakfast.
As soon as I will be able to catch up with our pictures you will see how nice it was!

Stai Tranquillo

Papa' was a bit upset with me (I can't understand why, I only broke a few things, dropped a glass of water and took with me a lot of sand in the living room) and started shouting that I had to stop behaving like that.
I found that he was exaggerating so I told him: "Papa' stai tranquillo".
It worked... he started laughing

Campeggio

I'm really excited! Tomorrow we will go to a camping in Bakkum. We will sleep in a real tent and visit the Bonazzi's. Yuhu!!!!

I'm still here

As you have probably noticed, I am very busy and don't have much time to update the blog.
I will make a quick summary of what happened in the last few months:

  • Murmel is growing like hell, she insists to stand up even if she is too young for
  • We went on holidays, first in Ticino and then a few days in Italy, it was very warm and nice, I have been swimming in the Maggiore lake, what an adventure!!
  • Cugina Maya was born!!!
  • We went to Wiesbaden to see Brescia in action during the Ironman competition. It was very funny although we were not able to spot Brescia among all the athletes. He did very well, he arrived 103rd of 2700 participants
  • I have learnt to say "per favore" a very handy word when I want something my parents don't want to give me...
I have uploaded a few new pictures in the photo album, have fun!

Compleanno papa'

Yes, yesterday was papa's compleanno, it is incredible how young he is. We had a (fake) surprise party, with a lot of people with children. Unfortunately there were not enough kids to destroy the house, we tried but we could only make some minor damage, the walls are still there.

I'm back (for today at least)

I haven't been posting anything since a long time. This is because I was busy with my little sister Marlene. She is very young, you know, and she needs a lot of attention from me. She is still growing very quickly, it's almost time to let my parents take care of her.
I need to spend my precious time with more important things. I've been busy for example to collect Marlene's nicknames, here is the current list:

  • Flipsy
  • Flipsy-Boldi
  • Boldi-Peks
  • Murmel

Varicella

My body is full of bubbles; it seems to be Chicken pox (varicella, waterpokken, windpokken).
But don't worry: I won't cry, I'm a real man.
In the meantime Murmle is growing like hell, she weighs more than 4 kilos and everything is fine with her.

I'm really busy now as you can understand, but as soon as I will have a moment of free time I will upload the pictures of my birthday party!

My sister

She is very sweet and nice, although I really don't understand why she doesn't like to play with cars...She actually didn't eat very well during the first two days but luckily mamma helped her very gently and now she is doing really well (although she still refuses the peaces of apple I'm offering her... what a strange girl!).

Birthday counter and Christmas pictures

As Marlene has finally joined us, I removed Cheli's countdown and replaced with one that allows you to calculate the days that are separating us from my second birthday...
I also posted some pictures taken around Christmas, including some with snow!
You can find them here:
